Because the local Junior High Schools do not offer soccer as a school sport, BYSL operates a Junior High Program. Participation is based upon school boundaries (meaning your son or daughter must play for the team associated with the public school they attend OR would attend if in a charter school, home schooled, or for High School Freshmen.
Sandcreek Boys 2013
Division “A” Champions
Participation is open to 7th and 8th graders and 9th graders who do not make their High School Varsity or JV teams. In addition to the Idaho Falls area Junior High Programs (Sandcreek, Taylorview, Eagle Rock, and Rocky Mountain) several other schools from Eastern Idaho participate in a league. The Junior High league is operated by BYSL.
Some schools have more than one team, and the teams are divided up into three Divisions.
